What is alloy 600
Industrial furnace, chemical industry, reactor construction. It also displays great heat resistance and considered as a standard material for various applications that require resistance to heat and corrosion. Corrosion resistance is good, especially in alkaline environments, and can be used in both cryogenic and elevated temperature service.

The excellent mechanical properties of the alloy give this material high strength and good workability.

It is non-magnetic, has excellent mechanical properties, and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good weldability under a wide range of temperatures. Examples are lockwire, exhaust liners and turbine seals. Resistant to a wide range of corrosive media.
